Transportation agencies are constantly exploring opportunities to improve how they manage travel on the surface transportation system. This responsibility continues to evolve as technologies advance and agencies are charged with improving safety and mobility with limited resources. This session will highlight the tools, technologies and practices agencies should consider to capture the data connected and automated vehicles and travelers will generate to improve travel and the capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness of these systems.
